Design your own Instrument Panel

Is there something that I have to be aware of when choosing instruments? Do they all fit? Does it matter where I put them? Well, all those questions have to be taken care of up front. A lot of these questions are frequently asked and use a lot of time until everything is solved and set up the way you like it - and that's our goal...

We hope that this will aid you, if you like, and give you an idea of the possibilities you or we have.

Our customer Peter Strube has designed a set of PowerPoint files for the different instrument panels together with the suitable instruments. Herewith I like to say "Thank you very much, Peter, for your work!&qu

Once you have set up your personal panel you can print it out and simply mail or fax it together with the order formulas.
Other than that we hope you'll have fun designing your own panel this way.
Have fun!

LS8 / LS10

At the annual German Gliding conference in Stuttgart one of the speakers, an expert of pressure instruments, made the following statement: Of all the instruments in a glider the ASI is the most important one. Therefore one should choose the bigger size of 80 mm for the ASI rather than 57 mm. Experience also shows that the smaller, 57 mm type can be pretty inaccurate and display incorrect values. So please let me reiterate this:

Please do buy your ASI only in the bigger size of 80 mm.

Installation of the LX-9000 in DG- and LS-Gliders

It already was a special problem to place an LX-8000 in DG- or LS-instrument panels and now the new LX-9000 is even bigger.
So we have designed a special panel for the DG-800 and the LS-6/7/8/10.

But for some older DG-800 this retrofit is just impossible because of the big DEI. If you are interested in installing an LX-9000 in your glider, please ask our Service department first for an offer.

If desired we can design new instrument panels for other types of gliders, too.

There is no doubt:

The LX-9000 is a fascinating flight computer!
